My fiance and I are getting married in April in Las Vegas and we're having a reception here in Ohio when we get home. Obviously we're already spending a fortune on the wedding so we're looking for inexpensive favor ideas. Our colors are red, black and white. We're working hard to tie the vegas wedding into our reception. Our cake will be decorate in fondant cutouts of hearts, diamonds, spades, and clubs. The tables will be decorate with cards, poker chips, and dice instead of flowers.

So I really want favors that tie in to the theme but everything is so expensive (like personalized playing cards). Does anyone have any ideas?? I'm willing to put alot of time into creating something if you have any ideas for something I can make?? or maybe you know of something out there i can buy?

Can you help me with a Moulin Rouge themed party?

She's having a really nice sweet sixteen and i said i would help her with idea's. Shes thinking of a Moulin Rouge theme..Any other idea's? Her friends said Vegas, Princess and like, winter wonderland as far as i know.. A big list of other fun, teenage themes would be great.

She's having it at a venue some place. My aunt and uncle are doing some looking around but my question is what are some idea's i can offer her for setting up, invitations and party favors? Please help!

but i like the idea of it being themed! i don't have any ideas for themes although moulin rouge is good just not so sure parents will be ok with that. cause i went to a party themed that and it was all lingerie wearing slutty girls.
when i get invitations i like when the are like home made. like if you and your friend like crafts then suggest you guys make the invitations and have a few other people help you make them.
and party favors, hmm. i went to this one party and we got a little bag of all kinds of candy and while we were at the party we each got a picture with the birthday girl and while we were partying her mom printed the pictures out and put them on these cute little picture holder that was shaped like an ice cream cone and that went in our party favor.

How should I word these wedding invitations?

I am making wedding invitations for the wedding of my uncle and I do not know what words to use. It will be a small wedding at a friend's house, with just family and close friends so you do not want it to be too formal. They will also hand-delivered.

How to get info about a Las Vegas wedding...?

I am trying to get as much info as I can about getting married in Las Vegas. Does anyone know any good sites where I can request brochures by mail?

I got married there in 1999. All we did was go to one of the tourist booths on the strip and paid about $250. That got us a limo to take us to the courthouse, the chapel, some pictures, and flowers to use for the ceremony. Google would be a great way to find out more.

has anyone done helicopter wedding in Las Vegas?

I wonder if anyone has ever done a wedding in a helicopter in Las Vegas, either over the Strip or the Grand Canyon. Was is worth for this special day? [we are planning a small wedding for just two of us and two witnesses]
Would anyone recomend it?

That would be nice, but helicopters are not the most reliable of transportation. There are a lot of helicopters that lose control and fall, and if that happens on your wedding day, it won't be that fun... so best just get married on the ground, and pay no attention to the one below me
