Church Decorations??

The church where we're having our wedding does not have seats. It has straight-back chairs that are attached in rows and do not have armrests. They are very neutral and not all ugly. However, since there is not much to unite bonds or flowers, what can we do to decorate the hall? My dress has a fairly wide and long train, so anything on the floor can hit. If anyone has any idea, especially pictures, really appreciate it. I prefer floral decorations tulle or ribbon, so if anyone can think of creative ways to connect to the presidents of flowers or something that would be great! Thank you!

The ends of the ribbons hang down and cover the tube also.

Wedding favor ideas?

My fiance and I are getting married in April in Las Vegas and we're having a reception here in Ohio when we get home. Obviously we're already spending a fortune on the wedding so we're looking for inexpensive favor ideas. Our colors are red, black and white. We're working hard to tie the vegas wedding into our reception. Our cake will be decorate in fondant cutouts of hearts, diamonds, spades, and clubs. The tables will be decorate with cards, poker chips, and dice instead of flowers.

So I really want favors that tie in to the theme but everything is so expensive (like personalized playing cards). Does anyone have any ideas?? I'm willing to put alot of time into creating something if you have any ideas for something I can make?? or maybe you know of something out there i can buy?

My neighbors tree hanging in my time line and caused some property damage. I tried to send?

letter asking them to cut the part that hangs over me at least, but ignored my letter. Do not talk to any neighbors and are not the nicest of people. The branches have fallen and left holes and water leaks in the backyard studio. Im worried when the rain and the wind comes around the tree that could fall ... is shot dead an alder. What I do? If overlapping branches cut me I pull the debris over the fence to clear.? Can I hire a tree topper and charge? been asked and are aware of this tree is dead and a concern for us.

Contact the city if the tree is dead. If deemed to be a danger, be asked to have it removed. Otherwise there is nothing you can do. Even if you sent him a letter saying it is a problem. does anybody have any ideas for candle setting for my wedding tables .. i wanted to go with maybe a light blue with maybe floating candels ., or maybe just 3 different size candles 2 small and 1 big one in the middle of the table ..... plz help i need as much advice as posible my weddings in december so its going to be a winter wonderland theme !

In the movies, everyone seems to get married in June. But a winter wedding can be terribly glamorous, cinematic and magical. With the right elements, your winter wedding will be a wonderland.

Attire for Your Winter Wedding
Think about you and your sweetie in the elegant look of old Hollywood; the groom in tails, and the bride in a white long silk dress with a white fur or faux fur wrap. Evoke the season with "ice" –diamond or diamond-like jewelry. 90% of wedding dresses are strapless or sleeveless, but that's not so practical for a bride who wants to take pictures outside, or needs to walk any distance. Look for wraps, shrugs, and capes, or dramatic coats. I've always loved the look of a bride in a white dress and a large red shawl, huddled against her groom who has a red boutonnière.

And don't forget your bridesmaids! An attractive wrap to wear on the day of your wedding and beyond makes a great bridesmaid present.

Where to Have a Winter Wedding
Look for an inn with a fireplace for an intimate winter wedding. For a larger affair, you may be able to use a historic mansion or private club that will still have intimate warmth. Unless you're getting married in a state that will have guaranteed snow during your wedding date, avoid a room that has a large picture window. You may imagine drifts of beautiful snow, and end up with a grey rainy day. Be sure to ask what seasonal decorations they use – you'll save money as many sites are already heavily decorated. Also, check to make sure your site will be adequately heated during the winter months; old churches can be especially drafty.
