Ring Bridal
In the U.S., there are few traditions that tacit usually occur at weddings. The bride wears a white tunic, wearing pearl bridal jewelry, diamonds, or crystals, and the groom is dressed in a tuxedo. There are flowers, a wedding, and wedding music, and the event usually takes place in a church. However, not all weddings that culture has become like the ones in the United States. In fact, bridal jewelry in other cultures can be very wide and has a long and interesting history.
Early bridal jewelry
The beginnings of bridal jewelry are not entirely clear, but it is believed that wedding rings originated in Egypt. The first non-wedding rings of platinum, gold or even silver with diamonds and other gemstones. However, early wedding rings were rings hemp fabric. The rings were used in the same hand today on the fourth finger. The reasoning was that the love vein ran from this finger to the heart and the wedding ring was loyalty and love. As such, this is how the fourth wedding ring finger occurred.
Later, the Romans started using the idea of the rings wedding too. However, these rings were not hemp. Rather, the Romans used iron as the basis of its rings. And while love may have played a party to the wedding rings Romans were more about ownership and show that a particular woman belonged to her husband. The Romans used their rings in the same hand and finger as the Egyptians.
Silver found its way into the bridal jewelry during the Italian Renaissance. During this time began the wedding rings to have their own style. The silver lent itself to beautiful designs and wedding rings, jewelry for weddings as a whole began to take another form.
Ireland is to thank for the idea of the wedding jewelry of gold and a wedding ring should be a precious metal that marriage is a success. Today, in many parts of the world, the idea that the bridal jewelry should be made of gold or other precious metal and decorated with precious stones, is very popular. In fact, bridal jewelry in the western world is being adopted elsewhere. However, there are still some places in the world who have their own types of bridal jewelry that is not anything that the Western world.
