I want to do somthing cool for placement cards I was thinking of doing candy apples. Does anyone know where I could get cheap Candy Apples?

and then nameing each table with a different city or street name but I think it is to much work. and i dont really know how to do it.

I was thinking about doing different city name or street name is b/c both of us were born in different counties and now live in USA.
My wedding is July 4th weekend, and team is (I guess) Renaissance-fairytale.
Unless you really want them, I would refrain from using little placecard holders. Most people just end up throwing them in a desk drawer afterward and never give them a second thought unless they have your names on them or something. They can look really generic. Unless they really bring out a key element in your wedding theme or something, people will overlook them.
I would actually just keep the placecards themselves really simple, listing the name and table number. If you want to have the tables named something, that would be really fun. We're actually living in Chicago, but are having our wedding in NY because that's where we met and are both from. But we want Chicago to be a part of the wedding, so we're naming each table after a Chicago landmark (Wrigley Field, Michigan Avenue, Chicago Theater, etc.), and having a corresponding engagement photo at that table of us in front of the landmark. I think that's something that people would remember more than a little silver statue.
So get creative and think of something that's important to the two of you, and see if you can get a table theme out of it.
