Book Pen Garter

Does anyone know of any good and inexpensive wedding websites or stores?

I am getting married soon and I find it unnecessary to spend a shit ton of money on accessories like a ring pillow and flower girl basket. I found one website that had a whole set with the pillow, basket, guest book, garter, pen, cake knife and server, and toasting glasses for only $75 which is great! but the website got bad reviews for being unreliable. So i was wondering if anyone knows of any other websites that sell sets like this or any stores that might for a good price! thanks!

Honestly, that's still pretty overpriced. There are cheaper ways to get these things if you do your research.

Do you really WANT all of these things? None of these items are mandatory. If you really want to save money, I would just skip them entirely. None would be missed if you didn't have them.

Still, if you want them, let me suggest other ways to get them:

Visit some thrift shops and see what you can find. I've seen tons of baskets in thrift shops.

Look on Craigslist and eBay. Lots of brides buy these things for their weddings - and when the wedding's over and they discover that they have no further use, they try to get rid of them for deep discounts.

Craft stores and Walmart usually have all these items. Many dollar stores have them as well.

You don't need a special pen for the guestbook. You can wrap a regular pen in ribbon if you want something "pretty," although nobody will notice or care what kind of pen you use. A simple blank scrapbook can serve as a nice guestbook. Or have guests sign something interesting like a platter, coffee table book, etc.

A ring bearer pillow can be made quite cheaply if you have some spare fabric and a sewing machine. Do you know someone who sews?

Do you have any recently married friends who can loan you these items? Or do your family members still have these things? It would be a lovely sentiment to borrow something from a happily married couple, plus it's absolutely free.

Have you had a bridal shower yet? Is your wedding after your birthday or Christmas/Hanukkah? If not, wait and see what you might get. I received the toasting flutes and cake cutting set as shower and Christmas gifts.

Does the reception hall have any of these items? Our reception hall had flutes and a cake set we could borrow if we didn't bring our own. Also a birdcage for cards.
